MEDELLÍN, Colombia – Oct. 11, 2025 – PRLog — Color de Cambio, an organization dedicated to uplifting underrepresented communities through empowerment and social-development initiatives, successfully hosted two high-energy spades tournaments at Skybar Sports Bar in Medellín. With 20 teams competing in each tournament, the events brought together community members, expats, and supporters for days filled with strategy, entertainment, and unity—all aimed at raising funds for Color de Cambio’s impactful programs across Colombia.
Set within a vibrant day-party atmosphere, both tournaments featured dynamic sets from DJ Killa, DJ Kat, DJ Shayan, and DJ Amber, who energized the crowd and kept the momentum high throughout the events. While spades took center stage, Skybar also transformed into a lively social playground, giving attendees numerous ways to enjoy themselves beyond the tournament tables.
Guests participated in a variety of board and bar games, including darts, pool, Jenga, Uno, dominoes, and more, ensuring that everyone—from seasoned spades players to casual attendees—had engaging activities to enjoy. Friend groups and solo attendees jumped into games throughout the day, fostering a welcoming environment of competition, laughter, and connection.
The venue’s multiple screens broadcasted a selection of popular sports games and television shows, allowing attendees to cheer on their favorite teams and stay entertained between rounds. This blend of social gaming, music, and sports created a uniquely dynamic experience that resonated with locals and visitors alike.
The occasion was further elevated with exclusive food and liquor discounts, making the tournament days not only fun but accessible for all who attended. The combination of competitive gameplay, music, and entertainment offered something for everyone and reflected the vibrant, multicultural community Color de Cambio continues to cultivate.
“These events were more than tournaments—they were celebrations of culture, community, and collaboration,” said organizer Herschel Chalk from Color de Cambio. “We’re tremendously grateful to the players, DJs, and the Skybar staff for helping us raise essential funds and awareness for our mission.”
Proceeds from both events directly support Color de Cambio’s wide-ranging initiatives, including educational assistance, social support programs, and community development activities.
Color de Cambio will continue to host inclusive, community-centered events as it expands its reach and impact across Colombia. For more info visit http://www.colordecambio.org
